| Description: | Description/Responsibilities: Our client is looking for Permanent and Contract Java Developers for their Web Development team. You will work to develop/support Internet applications, with responsibilities in analysis, OO design, coding, testing, documenting, production implementation, and maintenance of those applications. Involvement may include evaluations of new Internet technologies and upgrades, system performance studies, and enhancement recommendations. |
| Duties: | We are seeking a highly motivated java developer to deliver and support Swing and web applications. You will have the opportunity to participate in the entire development life-cycle including analysis, design, build, test, and implementation. You will need to understand and troubleshoot our existing systems in relation to our new development efforts. We will encourage you to expand your skill set and to explore other technical opportunities within the company. | Qualifications: | The successful candidate must have the following qualifications: • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience. • 2+ years experience developing applications using Java, J2EE. • Excellent oral and written communication skills and the ability to express complex technical concepts. • Ability to work on multiple projects at the same time. • Appropriate technical knowledge and hands on experience with OOAD, Swing, J2EE design techniques, and JBOSS application implementation. • Ability to work independently or as part of a team to build applications. • Working knowledge of database concepts and OO design. • Agile development methodology experience a plus.
