| Description: | Parallel HR Solutions is looking to secure a strong Quality Assurance Engineer for a direct hire position. Our client is looking for a seasoned QA professional with strong manual and automation skills and experience. The selected QA Engineer will help test our clients management agent and core product engine for its current and next generation products.
Required Experience and Skill Set:
3-5 years of hands-on QA experience, both manual and automated testing.
Experience in implementing Quality Assurance procedures and protocols in a structured environment.
Experience developing test planspreparing, executing, and reporting automation tests, effort estimations, and metrics management.
Excellent written and verbal communication.
Proven track record for high quality product delivery.
Independent worker who can quickly integrate well with teams, but work independently towards shared and individual goals.
Ability to forecast QA software timelines, schedule milestones, and adhere to division-wide policies and procedures.
Experience with multiple QA testing techniques and methodologies.
Creative, meticulous, and production driven personality
Experience developing testing frameworks and test automation.
Extensive C# and .Net testing experience.
Experience testing applications written in C.
Experience testing database-driven applications (SQL, Oracle, etc.)
Experience writing complex SQL queries.
Preferred Experience and Skill Set:
Experience in testing large commercial enterprise products.
Microsoft SQL Server, MySQL and Oracle experience.
Experience testing internationalized applications.
Highly proficient in Unix/Linux and Windows environments
Knowledge and hands-on experience with open source test automation tools.
