Duties:
  • Manage and update LAN and WAN networks and respective equipment
  • Monitor and manage the company firewalls and computer security protection systems
  • Assist in the planning and transition of company network structures
  • Share the technical support for client computers and respective user equipment
  • Monitor and support the company print servers, scanners, and printers
  • Assist in the administration of the company network/security management (MS Active Directory)
Qualifications:
  • BS Degree in Computer Science or Business Information Systems (or currently enrolled)
  • Good understanding of network topologies, routing, and firewalls
  • Familiar with Windows XP/7 support issues and the ability to solve related problems
  • Ability to focus on quality project outcomes while also handling interruptions for support calls
  • Capacity to produce effective visual and descriptive technical documentation
  • Desire and capacity to learn complex systems and information technologies
  • Strong verbal, phone, and written communication skills
  • Able to solve immediate problems with a consideration towards long term solutions
  • Diligent but not impetuous in solving problems and creating new solutions
  • Values honesty and integrity, and seeks the same benefits for others as themselves
  • Respectful of others with a strong service attitude
