We specialize in providing outsourced IT services for small and mid-sized companies. Our clients represent various industries that have sophisticated IT needs.
The Chief Operations Officer is responsible for managing the lifecycle of services delivered to our Clients from the opportunity identification stage through to ongoing client support and operations.
Subsequently, the position is responsible for managing the operations, technology and profit & loss of the business, support the Company’s delivery of best-in-class services to a growing community of clients, striving to enhance the value of our services, improve client relationships, and seek ways to further expand service offerings to meet client needs.
|Duties:||Position Responsibilities: |
• Strategic Planning
o Provide in depth analysis and insight into capital, process and personnel investments needed to achieve business objectives
o Maintain an in-depth understanding of the service industry, competitors, vendors, suppliers and clients then leverage this understanding to achieve business objectives
o Identify, develop and implement new service products that enable the business to grow
• Business Development
o Develop effective sales and marketing plans and strategies
o Implement written sales activity plans with monthly and yearly quotas that benefit not only the company, but also the client.
o Work Closely with the marketing and sales department to win new business that will enable the business to grow by increasing market-share and profitability
o Seek continuous improvement in the sales and marketing program
o Review proposals to new clients
o Create networking relationships in order to maintain awareness of potential clients’ activity in our market, i.e. new business, expansion of existing business, as well as competitor activities
o Attend industry trade events as needed
• Client Service
o Establish an environment of exceptional client service that retains existing clients and attracts new clients
o Understand clients’ varying, often quite specific, business needs and applying knowledge of the company’s products to meet those needs
o Ensure quality of service
o Follow up on completed sales with personal visits to assess the client’s satisfaction, to maintain contact, and to remain the preferred partner
• Operational Excellence
o Develops business plans and reports on the status of the business operations that enable management to assess performance and progress
o Use key operations metrics and us this information to enable continuous improvement in Services
• Team Management
o Develops and maintains communication in a cooperative and professional manner within the organization and with clients
o Ability to attract, hire, develop and motivate staff
o Meet regularly with management to ensure that effective information flows
|Qualifications:||Bachelors degree in business administration, or equivalent senior management experience with full P&L responsibility|
Eight to 15 years related experience OR Equivalent combination of education and experience
