Summary: We are currently searching for a highly polished, experienced professional to join our growing Electronic Health Records Department as our new Electronic Health Records Specialist. In this highly technical position, you will be responsible for implementation, configuration, training, and re-engineering of practice operations to support the successful adoption of electronic medical records software. Under the direction of the Development Manager, the EHR Specialist will interact directly with the physicians and the physician's office staff to implement, train and support the use of the EHR software.

| Duties: | Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties or special projects may be assigned.
• Analyze the requirements of a physician's office and clinical work flow to most effectively implement electronic health records software
• Able to redesign existing workflows to leverage the efficiencies gained via an electronic process
• Configure the electronic health records software in the most efficient manner to support the physicians office requirements
• Will interact directly with the physicians and physicians office staff to implement train and support the use of the EHR software.
• Directly and remotely support the physicians and physician office staff in the use of the software.
• Perform software customizations, ranging from basic to complex, in accordance to Client customization requirements. Process requirements for enhancements and/or new features to the appropriate department.
• Independently manage client communication including, but not limited to, ensuring accurate and timely follow-up to Client questions and issues. EHR Specialists are authorized to respond to client e-mail inquiries, schedule and conduct telephone calls, and/or brief webinars to ensure critical issues/ problems are being addressed.
• Independently develop and design Client presentations.

| Qualifications: | Qualifications Include:
• Current technical ophthalmic certification, COA, COT or COMT.
• Willingness to travel approximately 20% of time throughout the US.
• Familiar with web development (HTML)
• VB script knowledge a plus
• Previous EHR/EMR experience a plus
• Clinical experience a plus
