WGU is seeking a dynamic, high-energy, detail-oriented Recruiting Manager to join our team. The right candidate is hands-on, a self-starter, enjoys multi-tasking, is flexible, and is passionate about the opportunity to work with highly motivated, skilled professionals in a academic environment. Reporting directly to the HR Director, the Recruiting Manager will be responsible for working with WGU’s leadership in the execution of their recruiting and staffing strategy, and will work directly with various Directors and Managers throughout the recruiting process.

| Duties: | Job Duties and Responsibilities:
Overall responsibility for development of a recruiting strategy and associated initiatives. Also responsible for developing and implementing recruiting processes, from sourcing and tracking to offer development and closing. Annual hiring goals may change throughout the year this position requires someone with flexibility and multi- tasking skills. Generate and maintain a direct candidate pipeline, through Internet-based searches, networking, associations, internal referrals, and advertising. Build a WGU-specific candidate pipeline that can be immediately leveraged when new positions arise. PeopleAdmin and HireRight experience is a plus. Develop postings and advertising strategies to target and recruit exceptional candidates. Develop and maintain market knowledge in our service areas of focus, to include the competitive landscape and market intelligence, salary trends, and recruiting trends. Consistently evolve industry knowledge by actively participating in educational opportunities; reading professional publications; maintaining and growing personal networks; participating in professional organizations, and being a community leader within the industry. Capture and track critical recruiting data in accordance with government compliance requirements.

| Qualifications: | POSITION REQUIREMENTS/DESIRED EXPERIENCE:
• Established recruiting and sourcing capabilities, including exceptional people skills and interviewing capabilities
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills; highly organized and results-oriented
• Previous experience as a recruiter is required
• Self-starter, excels at working with minimal direction; highly collaborative and functions well within a team
• Solid track record of developing, maintaining and building long-term relationships with both internal (WGU) and external (prospects, staffing agents, etc.)
