The David Eccles School of Business is seeking a talented, energetic professional to coordinate the Open Enrollment and Custom Programs in the Executive Education department. Reporting to the Associate Dean of Executive Education, this position is responsible for the quantity and quality of our custom and open enrollment programs, ensuring that Executive Education flawlessly delivers highly relevant and rigorous programs. This goals of this position include: exceeding the expectations of our clients, students, and faculty; strengthening the Executive Education relationships with leading corporations, government agencies and nonprofit organizations; and delivering substantial net income that can be reinvested to support teaching and research at the DESB.
The Program Coordinator of Executive Education will coordinate all aspects of non-degree Executive Education programs for the David Eccles School of Business, including: coordinating custom and open enrollment program delivery, developing new custom Executive Education clients and programs, coordinating and maintaining the annual calendar and, maintaining and building new relationships with existing and potential Executive Education clients.

Participant Responsibilities:
Assists in the delivery of open enrollment and custom programs by providing logistical support, before, during and after each program. Provides participant and curriculum support to a wide range of faculty and programs. Maintains a high level of professionalism, facilitates teamwork and a focuses on customer service. For programs both on and off-site: assists in registration, coordinating meals, answering questions, directing participants, making copies, etc., as required. Contributes to the improvement of programs and departmental processes and procedures. 
 Responsible for tracking all applications and enrollment information, updating database with status of participant, generating status letters, communication with applicants, etc. Plans and hosts special events for programs.
Curriculum Responsibilities:
Prepares and distributes materials. Posts advance readings, logistics etc. on the web site course page, works directly with faculty to collect/coordinate readings, handouts, media requests and simulations. Collaborates with faculty on development and distribution of program schedule and other materials as necessary, including program documents and gifts.
Marketing/Recruiting Responsibilities:
Responsible for helping meet department revenue goals by generating interest, securing commitments and closing new sales to increase participation in DESB Executive Education programs. Focuses on establishing relationships and maintaining frequent communication with participants, key leaders, and decision makers within the organization and engaging with corporate partners to sell and deliver Executive Education programs. In collaboration with associate director, responsible for maintaining website and writing/editing program related publications and promotional materials. Also responsible for assisting with proposal development including documentation, evaluation, and follow-up.
Administrative Responsibilities:
Provides administrative support and participates in decision making, in collaboration with associate dean of Executive Education, covering all aspects of open enrollment, custom and corporate programs. 
Oversees daily program operations and coordinates program activities. Monitors program quality and effectiveness and researches improvement methods. Prepares reports, financial statements and records on program status and progress for management and outside agencies. Manages/submits financial documentation in support of program activities described above. Assists in program close-out and reconciliation activities. May assign, direct and review work of support staff. 

| | Qualifications: | Associate�s degree in a related field, or equivalent, plus two years of related experience required; ability to use logic and understanding of the department�s mission to prioritize tasks; computer skills including word processing, spreadsheet software, database software and ability to learn new software; demonstrated human relation, effective communication skills, and a commitment to provide excellent customer service also required. Must be a collaborative, collegial individual who enjoys working with diverse populations and being a member of a team.
PREFERENCES
Bachelor�s degree in a related field may be preferred. Two to four years of administrative experience, preferably in an academic setting, or equivalency; the ability to work independently and pay close attention to detail; and developed organizational skills. Ability to make independent judgments and to act on decisions on a daily basis. Ability to work on several tasks simultaneously and to meet various concurrent deadlines. Strong interpersonal skills in working with executives, faculty, and students; entrepreneurial desire to help build Executive Education business and the DESB.
The ideal candidate will be organized, flexible, detail oriented, a team player and comfortable working in a fast-paced demanding environment.
