Job Summary
- Responsible for assigned aspects of QA test planning and test execution activities for the 360 Encompass product.
- Participate in planning sessions to identify sequence and approach to release development
- Participate in design sessions to influence design based on testing needs
- Create manual test cases and test data to certify specifications
- Develop/Execute test cases and test data (manual and some automated execution/analysis)
- Responsibilities also include risk management, development of level of estimates for assigned work, participation in project planning, project status meetings and the participation in any post-implementation reviews to identify and recommend solutions to close identified gaps and ensure product success
- May also be required to provide assistance to the Customer Care team to verify/reproduce reported issues
- Maintain and update test cases and testing strategies from release to release.
- Perform product development work (as needed) on assigned Agile team in support of release goals.
- Perform quality assurance work (as needed) on assigned Agile team in support of release work by executing, and analyzing testing results.
- Identify risks, risk management and develop mitigation plans in support of quality assurance and release goals.
- Provide customer support to address/resolve issue identified by both internal and external clients.

| Qualifications: | Basic Qualifications
- High School Diploma / GED
- 1+ years experience in software quality assurance testing or related software development experience.
Preferred Qualifications
- Degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems or related field
- Knowledge of SQL and querying databases
- Knowledge of test tools/automation tools, techniques, methods and procedures
- Experience with one or more of the following operating systems: Windows, Apache server and Linux, Web OS
- Experience with Telelogic tools suite and Team Foundation Server
- Hands-on experience with Quality Center, Winrunner, Functional Test or Telelogic Tools
- Experience with processing/interpreting/testing HL7 messages
- Experience testing web application and web services
- Experience with VB Script and Javascript
- Strong communication skills and critical thinking skills
- Ability to met predefined deadlines, prioritize work assignments and ensure delivery dates are met with quality results
- Timely identification of risks and risk mitigation strategies
- Experience working with virtual teams
- Ability to take initiative and responsibility for completion of assignments
- Keen eye for detail (detail oriented)
- Technical foundation for understanding relationships between software solutions and the infrastructure that supports it
- Understanding of Software Development Lifecycle
- Experience with any programming language
- Experience with data collection
- Experience with maintaining standards
- Ability to follow procedures completely
- Ability to negotiate from an end user perspective
