Description:This position manages the websites, online tools, communications, and outreach efforts of the ECE Department, its faculty, and the research groups in which its faculty participate. The position organizes and completes special projects as assigned to increase the visibility of the department, to provide faculty and staff support, and to meet development/fundraising priorities.

Duties:Designs, builds, and maintains websites for the ECE Department and its constituent research groups, faculty members, and student organizations. Develops PHP applications to enable online operations for the department and to fill other observed needs. Records, edits, and uploads video content. By consulting with the Chair, identifies and articulates fundraising priorities. Works with the College of Engineering Development Office to pursue solicitations, alumni events, and communication strategies to promote charitable support. Coordinates the Engineering Clinic Program by identifying, soliciting, and maintaining relationships with industrial sponsors of student research projects. Designs, writes, edits, prints, and mails departmental communications. Develops systems and maintains records to support and advance the program. May supervise subordinate staff.
Qualifications:A bachelor�s degree in either a technical field (Computer Science, Mathematics) or a communications field (Marketing, Communications, English) is mandatory for success. Work experience in online communications, web development, graphic design, and publishing is mandatory. Flexibility to shuffle priorities and complete projects across ranges of topics is necessary almost daily.
