Description:TestOut Corporation is looking for a highly motivated and experienced Academic Account Manager to increase sales of LabSim to Academic Institutions. A successful Academic Account Manager will make outbound prospecting/cold calls, provide pricing, generate quotes, close sales, maintain strong customer relationships, meet and exceed sales goals. This position reports directly to the Sales Manager and will work closely with other sales team members.
Duties:�Develop new business through prospecting and leads

�Present product solutions to prospects and customers

�Close business and generate additional revenue for the company

�Increase sales of company products within existing customers

�Utilize professional selling expertise and business acumen to meet and exceed sales quotas within a geographic sales territory

�Provide exceptional customer service and form strong client relationships

�Maintain accurate customer records in CRM
Qualifications:�Minimum 3 years of selling to academic institutions

�Excellent prospecting, cold-calling, presentation and closing skills

�Advanced negotiation and objection handling skills are essential in this role

�Excellent customer service skills

�Excellent prioritization and time management skills

�Excellent planning and forecasting skills along with knowledge of account development strategies

�Proven success carrying an individual quota

�Professional solution-based selling and account management skills

�Excellent communication and analytical skills

�Solid understanding of internet-based tools, Microsoft Office, and Customer Relationship Management (CRM)

�Bachelor�s Degree, or equivalent experience

�Prior experience selling IT related solutions preferred

Competitive base plus commission
