We are looking for a Technical Analyst to join our Enterprise Integration Development team. The Technical Analyst provides product and technical expertise in implementing Tomax integration products and utilities. The ideal candidate will possess a solid background in software development or technical support and retail.
Specific responsibilities include:
� Performing as lead customer contact for integration efforts;
� Defining customer business requirements and application objectives in relation to existing integration components, customer systems, and data needs;
� Assisting in defining integration product features and direction;
� Working with customers to configure and use integration products;
� Providing integration technical troubleshooting support on an ad-hoc basis; and
� Assisting in the creation and maintenance of department knowledgebase and documentation.
The successful candidate must possess:
� Bachelor�s degree in Computer Science, Business, Information Technology or related degree;
� 3+ years of experience in software development, technical support or consulting with significant customer-facing responsibilities;
� Experience with enterprise-level databases such as Oracle, Sybase, SQL Server; Oracle and Postgres preferred;
� Experience with PL/SQL, stored procedures/packages, import/export;
� General understanding of Java and application server environments;
� Experience with Windows, Linux and UNIX;
� Prior experience with systems integration or retail applications as a user or administrator a plus;
� Highly proficient with Word, Visio, Excel, and PowerPoint;
� Excellent communication skills, verbal and written;
� Excellent problem solving skills;
� Ability to grasp new concepts, applications, and products quickly;
� An outstanding attitude, be a self-starter, be able to work with deadlines, and manage time effectively.
� Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to work with customers through entire implementation process; and
� Ability to travel up to 50%.
