The SQL Analytics Developer will work collaboratively with our data scientists and other analytics personnel to extract and prepare data sets for analysis, populate the analytics warehouse with clean and useful data, run routine analyses, write code to deploy models, and contribute to the development of repeatable processes for advanced learning analytics at our client. |
| Duties: | Work collaboratively with data scientists and domain experts to design data models that support learning analytics on large-scale data sets.
Develop high-quality extract, transform, and load procedures using SQL, for one-time project use and for ongoing population of the analytics data warehouse.
Write scripts that automate routine statistical and information display tasks.
Participate in the design and implementation of the big data analytics architecture. |
| Qualifications: | Education and/or Experience
Five years� experience in analytics, information technology, or software development, with at least three years� SQL experience. Bachelor�s or master�s degree with a quantitative emphasis, ideally in computer science or statistics, with a basic understanding of statistical analysis and/or machine learning techniques |
