| Description: | Established and growing financial services firm in midtown Manhattan has several exciting Software Development opportunities in its Information Technology department. Software products are delivered through the Web, Bloomberg, and Windows/Unix platforms. Responsibilities of these positions would include all aspects of product development life cycle: design, develop, test, debug, write system and user documentation, and provide application support for clients.

| Qualifications: | Qualifications:
At least a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Engineering related fields.
2 - 5 years Database Development experience with SQL (preferably T-SQL)
Experience with SQL Server Databases
Experience with large data sets, complex stored procedures, modification/resolution of notifications, validations, error alerts.
Experience with databases of 200GB-1TB in data size
Additional skills:
Programming experience in Linux/Unix and Windows environment using Perl, .NET, or C++.
Candidates without Perl experience will also be considered if they are willing to learn Perl and can demonstrate ability to come up to speed in Perl in a short time.
Excellent communication and writing skills, problem solving and analytical skills, organizational skills and strong interpersonal skills are required.
Fixed Income knowledge will be very valuable.
