| Description: | Established and growing financial services firm in midtown Manhattan has several exciting Software Development opportunities in its Information Technology department. Software products are delivered through the Web, Bloomberg, and Windows/Unix platforms. Responsibilities of these positions would include all aspects of product development life cycle: design, develop, test, debug, write system and user documentation, and provide application support for clients. |
| Qualifications: | Qualifications:
At least a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Engineering related fields.
2 - 5 years programming experience in Linux/Unix and Windows environment using Perl, SQL, JavaScript, DHTML, HTML.
Candidates without Perl experience will also be considered if they are willing to learn Perl and can demonstrate ability to come up to speed in Perl in a short time.
Excellent communication and writing skills, problem solving and analytical skills, organizational skills and strong interpersonal skills are required.
ASP.NET/C#, .NET Framework, C/C++, XML, Web Services and Fixed Income knowledge will be very valuable. |
