We are looking for a Senior Network Engineer to join our Managed Services team. The Senior Network Engineer plays a lead role of designing, managing and maintaining switches, firewalls and load balancers in a complex production environment for our hosted retail software customers.

Specific responsibilities include:
� Performing analysis of networks and identifying problem areas and develop viable solutions;
� Coordinating with Engineering, Development and Testing, Professional Services, and Analysts to roll out and adopt the solution;
� Authoring and reviewing relevant documents like work plans, network specifications, diagrams, test plans and technical and non-technical documents for end-user support;
� Ensuring compliance of PCI Security standards, and following of security industry best practices;
� Analyzing customer / internal network requirements;
� Authoring systemic requirements (serviceability, reliability, interoperability, work-flow and use case definitions);
� Providing consulting services to internal and external customers;
� Participating in a rotating 24x7 on-call coverage and Level 3 support;
� Serving as a subject matter expert on network design, integration and interoperability; and
� Providing service to review network design requirements, and providing and offering solutions that meet these requirements.

The successful candidate must have the following:
� Bachelor�s degree plus five years of relevant experience or Master�s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related experience;
� 3+ years of network administration, design or relevant experience;
� Thorough understanding of Cisco hardware components that manage switching, load balancing and firewalls (including Nexus, ACE/ASA and CSS devices);
� Understanding of vSwitching within Hypervisors;
� Understanding of dynamic routing protocols including BGP and OSPF;
� Understanding of network segmentation using VLANs;
� Understanding of general security best practices;
� Experience in the network design of multi-tenancy environments;
� Strong written and oral communication skills including the ability to communicate complex issues to technical and non-technical staff and management; and
� Ability to take the lead on customer issues and manage a project through successful completion.
