Control4 Corporation has an immediate need for a Hardware Applications Engineer. This position will play a major role in supporting co-development design and creation efforts of next generation hardware technology between Control4 and its strategic partners for personalized automation and control solutions.

| Duties: | ITEMIZED DESCRIPTION OF DUTIES:
- Coordinate product requirements, work orders and work agreements between Control4 management teams and strategic design partners.
- Assist in feasibility study of product requirements for assigned products.
- Assist in creation of engineering specifications and coordinate feasibility studies between engineering teams.
- Develop and coordinate design tasks and schedules.
- Conduct design reviews.
- Conduct process and schedule audits for cross-functional coordination between design teams.
- Conduct interviews and audit potential of OEM�s , strategic design and manufacturing partners for qualification.
NEEDED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:
- Candidate must be fluent with best practice design processes and techniques associated with delivering electromechanical platforms from concept to full-scale production.
- Candidate must have fluent knowledge of techniques and processes needed to qualify products through both safety and regulatory routines.
- Candidate must have excellent communication skills.
- It is preferred that the candidate have manufacturing background for electromechanical products.
- Candidate is preferred to have experience with mechanical design techniques and processes associated with both metal and plastic tooling and fabrication.

| Qualifications: | MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
- Candidate must have a Bachelor�s degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent experience.
- Candidate must be multilingual and fluent in speaking, reading and writing in the English and Mandarin Chinese languages.
- Candidate must be either based in ASIA or willing and able to spend 2/3 of the time conducting business travel in ASIA.
ON-RAMPING TASKS & OBJECTIVES (First 30 Days)
- Complete level 1 tech training.
- Review all planning and design documentation of existing designs in process.
INITIAL CORE OBJECTIVES (Next 90 Days)
- Visit all existing design and manufacturing partners.
- Provide technical capabilities report for existing design and manufacturing partners with recommendations for altering business procedures in an effort to improve relations and communications.
SEMI-ANNUAL KEY OBJECTIVES (Next 6 Months)
- Create and implement an improved communications plan and procedures that better support relations between Control4, its suppliers, contract manufacturers and strategic design partners.
- Assist Control4 in evaluation, acceptance and coordination of any new design or OEM product development.
Additional Information
This is a full-time salaried position scheduled to work on-site in Draper, UT during regular business hours of 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m., Monday - Friday.
