Control4 has an immediate need for a Program Manager to work closely with product and process development teams in the design, development, testing and release of Control4 products.
Duties:ITEMIZED DESCRIPTION OF DUTIES:
� Manage design, development and release through Control4's Project Process system: Product Requirements Documentation, Staffing and Scheduling effort, Project Kickoff, Prototype and Alpha development, Beta Release and Beta bug/issue resolution, Release Candidate process, Code Lock Down process, Release Process.
� Manage daily 'stand-up' meetings using scrum (Agile) technology concepts. Publish daily notes from the scrum meeting.
� Act as scrum master for assigned software development projects. This includes managing the backlog, daily updates to scrum tasks and milestones, arranging and conducting design and status meetings, updating (add/delete/change) team and individual tasks in Scrum works for the software development projects.
� Work with hardware engineers and management on integration of software with hardware/firmware releases, including feature updates/changes, software image builds for release to Beta and Pilot/Production manufacturing, bug/defect research and fix efforts, schedule and facilitate inter-departmental meetings to discuss and resolve software/hardware/firmware conflicts.
� Work closely with Hardware and Software Project Managers to integrate software development tasks/milestones/releases with hardware project tasks/milestones/releases.
� Work closely with the product managers and executive management. Daily tasks include project status notes (from daily stand up meetings), weekly updates and status reporting.
� Work closely with other product managers to ensure that resources are distributed to prioritized tasks, common dates and timelines are managed and tracked, cross-functional development is successful and beneficial,
� Work to integrate PQA tasks and milestones with development tasks and milestones. Communicate with PQA engineers and include them in all project communication. Work with, and in some cases, manage the bug fix/backlog process using Control4 defect management tools.
� Work with Control4 Marketing to ensure communication of upcoming releases is timely and thorough. If needed, work with Marketing to help develop and/or manage product literature and release tasks. Create metrics and progress reports for each project using Control4 methodologies. Manage process tasks and milestones as they pertain to projects. This may include setup/facilitation/documentation of meetings, signoff documents, go/no-go decision processes, change control, scope changes and timeline changes, communication to stakeholders/engineers/management.
Qualifications:NEEDED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:
� 5 + years experience leading product and process teams in all facets of a product development process.
� Strong background in program management software application methodologies.
� Proven ability to manage, track and report on multiple projects/programs concurrently.
� Background and understanding of metric gathering and project reporting solutions.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
� Minimum 5 years experience leading product and process teams in all facets of a product development process.
� Understanding and application of Hardware & Software development methodologies.
� Understanding of and proficiency with MS Project applications and familiarity with program management tools such as @task and Plan View.
� Strong communication skills and ability to motivate and lead in a collabrative team environments.
� Demonstrable background in project management with an emphasis in product development process (PRP).
� Ability to work independently set and reaches goals and timelines, report progress and issues.
� Strong background with large scale, multi-month/year development projects involving multiple teams/disciplines and wide range of technologies.

ON-RAMPING TASKS & OBJECTIVES (First 30 Days)
Become familiar with our PRP process and business units and their current projects. Take over programs that are in process.

INITIAL CORE OBJECTIVES (Next 90 Days)
Become familiar and rollout Planview portfolio management tool within the Control4 organization.

SEMI-ANNUAL KEY OBJECTIVES (Next 6 Months)
Become proficient in Planview configuration, resource management & reporting in order to better help the organization get good adoption of our Planview implementation.

This is a full-time salaried position scheduled to work on-site in Draper, UT during regular business hours of 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m., Monday - Friday.
