The primary focus of this position will be to provide the best possible support for our dealers and the most current competitive and market analysis for both our Product Managers and Marketing to best position our product line in today�s highly competitive marketplace.
Candidates should have experience with the CEDIA channel or a similar dealer-based sales model, be very �customer-focused� to drive best in class dealer support, and be experienced in working with and managing cross-functional groups. The ideal candidate possesses excellent business analysis and written communication skills, well-developed strategic thinking, sound technical fundamentals, and the ability to communicate and coordinate with a variety of product development, marketing, sales, and business development teams.
The Channel and Product Marketing Specialist will work closely with our Product and Sales teams as well as our dealer base to support both our domestic and international channels.

| Duties: | KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Channel Support:
� Dealer Newsletter
o Assume primary responsibility for soliciting and gathering appropriate and topical information for each newsletter
o Write, edit and proof all content
o Creation and publication of each issue using Eloqua and other tools as appropriate
o Schedule email blasts and maintain appropriately updated Dealer email blast lists
o Monitor and report open rates and click-thru�s weekly for each newsletter edition with the objective of constantly maintaining and improving metrics validating dealer use of newsletters
� Dealer Demo Kit
o Manage and track sales metrics for both 120 volt and 240 volt kit models
o Work closely with supply chain to order the appropriate number of each model with the goal of staying in stock without excessive quantities on hand
o Manage demo kit upgrades, SKU and pricing changes as kit components become unavailable and/or change
o Develop upgrade programs for existing sales to reflect new equipment availability
� Dealer Advisory Council
o Administer the creation of new Dealer Advisory Councils, both domestic and international
o Create and maintain calendar of topics for Advisory Council meetings in conjunction with Product, Marketing, Finance and Sales teams.
o Coordinate and schedule regular teleconferences with Council members and appropriate Control4 personnel based on current topics
� Dealer Surveys
o Create and administer calendar of dealer surveys to centralize visibility of number and type of surveys being asked of dealer community
o Consolidate surveys where applicable to minimize number of requests
o Evaluate and analyze survey results from a participation perspective to maximize feedback of each survey
Sales Support:
� Maintain central repository of currently available PowerPoint presentations and updates as appropriate
� Manage the creation of new slides for product introductions and distribution to the Sales team
� Be first point of contact both for Sales team and dealers for Marketing department requests
Product Support:
� Survey and summarize competitive information using Google Alerts and all other available online tools
� Create and maintain library of competitive resources including price lists and product briefs as they become available
� Assist with Product Management of both Current Audio and Dealer Demo Kits
NEEDED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:
� Ability to administer a project independently and report resource requirements and results in a timely fashion.
� Understanding of and ability to analyze and communicate market and technology requirements as well as product capabilities and limitations.
� Fundamental understanding of Audio, Video and Control protocols in the Consumer Electronics and Integration channels.
� Strong Microsoft Office skills, including Word, Excel and Powerpoint.
� Outstanding communications skills, both written and oral.

| Qualifications: | MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
� Experience with CEDIA channel or similar dealer based (two tier) sales model.
� 3+ years� experience in the CI channel, Consumer Electronics or Consumer Software market required.
� Proven Project Management skills required.
� Undergraduate degree in engineering, computer science, mathematics, or a related technical field preferred.
ON-RAMPING TASKS & OBJECTIVES (First 30 Days)
� Attend 4-Day Technical Dealer Training.
� Visit local dealers with local Area Sales Manager.
� Develop conversational knowledge of Control4 departments and responsibilities.
� Come up to speed on Eloqua, Survey Monkey and other tools required to publish Dealer Newsletter and Surveys.
INITIAL CORE OBJECTIVES (Next 90 Days)
1. Take over responsibility for Dealer Newsletter publication and email list maintenance and updates through SalesForce.
2. Assist with Dealer Advisory Council launch and be responsible for scheduling and administration of meetings.
3. Take over and manage the accumulation of competitive information from Google Alerts and other online and publication sources.
SEMI-ANNUAL KEY OBJECTIVES (Next 6 Months)
1. Measure and modify Dealer Newsletter to maximize open rates and click thru�s based on available metrics.
2. Ensure success of Dealer Advisory Councils by coordinating involvement of Product Management, Sales, Finance, and Marketing to enhance and achieve their information requirements.
3. Use dealer surveys and other tools to complete analysis as identified and required from various Control4 departments while managing the frequency of independent surveys from various departments within Control4
4. Ensure that Powerpoints for Sales are kept current as new announcements of products and features become available.
