| Duties: | Job Summary
Manage the 3M Healthcare Data Dictionary (HDD) product line. The HDD is a terminology server containing a reference terminology integrated from standard and legacy clinical vocabularies. HDD customers include health care delivery organizations - hospitals and clinics, and clinical system vendors - e.g. electronic health records (EHR) providers. HDD applications, tools and services support interaction with users and systems (e.g., clinical information systems, data warehouses and EHRs), but the HDD can also function as a standalone reference source. Key Responsibilities of the HDD Product Manager are:
- Manage the product line life cycle from strategic planning to tactical activities
- Work with HDD customers to specify requirements for enhancements and new functionalities
- Work with HDD informaticists and subject matter experts in research and design of solutions and approaches
- Drive a solution set through the development life cycle to market
- Collaborate with 3M Health Information Systems departments and products to leverage the HDD

| Qualifications: | Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor degree
- Minimum of 3 years experience in software product management
- Minimum of 3 combined years developing applications and/or systems
- Minimum of 3 combined years in a business management and/or product marketing
Preferred Qualifications:
- Good communication, oral presentation and writing skills
- Understanding and familiarity with the US health care industry
- Military background
- Good analytical and problem solving skills
- Ability to work well within a team
- Individual initiative and responsibility for innovation
- Detail orientation and commitment to perfection
