| Description: | POSITION DESCRIPTION SUMMARY:
Control4 has an immediate need for a Senior Software Engineer on its web service development team to help change the world one home at a time. The candidate will possess strong software architecture and design skills in creating highly scalable webservices. The candidate will create unit tests and conduct peer reviews of code for technical accuracy, standards, and functional compliance to the design.

| Duties: | ITEMIZED DESCRIPTION OF DUTIES:
� Design, develop and implement a scalable Service Oriented Architecture to support Control4 products.
� Lead a team of developers to create algorithms that are efficient, maintainable, extensible, easy to understand, and establish best development practices.
� Work closely with QA team to help define proper testing techniques, review the plans, correct product defects and assist QA engineers in test strategy.
� Work closely with technical writers to ensure detailed product documents are maintained.

| Qualifications: | NEEDED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:
� Strong understanding of best practices for creating highly scalable and secure webservices.
� Strong understanding of mobile and distributed computing.
� Experience with enterprise web and/or wireless products.
� Strong SQL skills in SQLServer, Oracle or MySQL.
� Understanding of Agile software development processes, including object oriented analysis, design, and implementation.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
� 7+ years of hands-on development experience will Java and/or .NET frameworks for creating webservices.
� Experience leading small engineering teams in SOA development.
� BS or Masters Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related field.
� Good verbal and written communication skills.
� An unrelenting desire to build great software.
ON-RAMPING TASKS & OBJECTIVES (First 30 Days)
� Complete Control4 technical training
� Gain a basic understanding of Control4 webservice requirements
INITIAL CORE OBJECTIVES (Next 90 Days)
� Work with webservice team and product management team to prioritize webservice backlog.
� Design and develop architectural features for Control4 web services to improve scalability and uptime.
SEMI-ANNUAL KEY OBJECTIVES (Next 6 Months)
� Work with webservice team to design and start implementing webservice features for next release of Control4 operating system.
� Work with webservice team to implement best practices in webservice development including continuous integration and testing automation.
This is a full-time salaried position scheduled to work on-site in Draper, UT during regular business hours of 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m., Monday - Friday.
