We are looking for a Security Engineer to join our Managed Services team. The Managed Services team provides hosting, security and environment support to our hosted Retail.net customers. The Security Engineer is responsible for understanding the business requirements of our customers and developing security solutions that satisfy these requirements.

Duties include:
� Developing security solutions, which may include: AAA frameworks, IDS, IPS, and firewalls;
� Defining hardware and software requirements of security designs;
� Developing and creating solutions around monitoring, security controls and cloud computing methodologies;
� Creating work plans for implementations and changes;
� Developing supporting system and network security documentation for specifications, designs and deployments for end-user support;
� Ensuring on-going compliance of PCI security standards and following industry best practices;
� Performing technical analysis of solutions and assisting with PCI audits and SOC-1 assessments;
� Providing consulting services to internal and external customers;
� Providing guidance to operational teams on security of platform architecture;
� Coordinating vulnerability assessments and penetration testing; and
� Participating in a 24x7 on-call and Level 3 support schedule.

The successful candidate should have the following:
� Bachelor�s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or similar area (equivalent work experience will be considered);
� 3+ years experience in a similar role;
� Thorough understanding of security hardware components;
� Thorough understanding of storage technologies;
� Experience in a Linux (SLES and/or RedHat) environment;
� Experience with Cisco security and network devices;
� Experience with applying Common Vulnerability Scoring Systems (CVSS);
� Firm understanding of SIEM solutions;
� Good understanding of general security architecture, frameworks and design;
� Good understanding of SAML and Federated Identity management concepts, including LDAP integration and custom build AAA frameworks;
� Understanding of source and change management;
� Experience writing Shell/Perl and C programming;
� Creative problem solving;
� Aptitude for thinking through highly complex configurations and designs;
� Basic understanding of Java;
� Excellent verbal and written communication skills;
� Ability to work in a team environment; and
� Ability to participate in a 24x7 rotating on-call schedule.
