Job Description

Control4 Corporation, has an immediate need for a Web Services Software Engineer to work within our Web Services group.

This is a full-time salaried position scheduled to work on-site in Draper, UT during regular business hours of 8:00 a.m. � 5:00 p.m., Monday � Friday.

Qualifications:- Minimum of 5 years of development using Java with at least 2 of those years developing web services.
- Data modeling, Object modeling and SQL proficiency.
- Bachelors or Master�s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related field.
- Team mentality.
- Strives to achieve goals, assist other team members, and feels a sense of ownership for their work.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications
- Strong understanding of best practices for creating highly scalable and secure web services.
- Web services design and implementation using SOAP and RESTful services.
- Practical experience with Message Oriented-Middleware (MOM)
- Object-oriented support patterns such as dependency injection, logging strategies, and Object-Relational Mapping tools.
- Strong understanding of object-oriented analysis, design, and implementation.
- Understanding of threading and concurrency issues.
- Strong understanding of design patterns.
- Agile development experience (Scrum).
- Knowledge of Unix/Linux systems.
- Knowledge of Tomcat and MySQL preferred.
