We are seeking Analysts and Associates to join our client, a leading global organization, in their Salt Lake City offices. These roles will be part of the Financial Control and Oversight Group that ensures the firm meets all the financial control and reporting obligations of a global, regulated and public financial institution. The team measures the profitability of, and risks associated with, every aspect of the firm�s business. They also ensure that the firm�s activities are conducted in compliance with the regulations governing transactions in the financial markets. Team members will interact with the Business Units in Investment Management, Controllers management, Operations, Technology and Compliance.

| Duties: | Individual�s responsibilities may include the following:
1. Review, analysis and reporting of performance for funds and accounts
2. Critical review of account performance with Portfolio Managers and senior management.
3. Working with the front office to understand trading strategies of the business.
4. Generation and reporting of performance returns against benchmarks, targets and desk estimates and analysis of various risk metrics.
5. Comparison of internal mutual fund returns vs. external fund administrators.
6. Maintain control procedures around the performance process and reporting.
7. Assist in the development of a valuation and price verification framework for products in conjunction with IT, operations and portfolio management
8. Regular interaction with other departments: IT, operations, fund accounting, legal and compliance
9. Assist in the review and reconciliation of performance for specific products
10. Preparation of management reports and analysis to assist portfolio management and finance managers in managing and understanding the business

| Qualifications: | QUALIFICATIONS
1. Strong academic background. Ideal candidate will have a degree in finance or accounting. CPA and/or CFA a plus.
2. Experience in the financial markets and the investment management industry is preferred
3. Experience with risk analytics or financial modeling a plus.
4. Experience in either product control or a performance measurement role a plus.
5. Knowledge of valuation models and functionality a plus.
6. Strong interpersonal and communication skills as well as analytical and organizational skills.
7. Strong work ethic with a keen attention to detail.
8. Ability to work in a team environment under pressure.
9. Candidate should be accustomed to questioning the status quo in order to continuously improve controls and procedures surrounding the performance process.
10. Solid PC skills, specifically Excel macros, VBA and Access experience a plus.
