| Description: | Our advanced company has an immediate opening for an Automation Maintenance Technician. This candidate will troubleshoot and repair a variety of industrial equipment used in producing high tech ceramics including powder milling and mixing equipment, tape casting and coating equipment, laser cutters, punches and presses, high temperature kilns, C02 laser cutters, and a variety of other equipment. This person will perform routing PMs as well, and be must be willing to work on alternate shifts. |
| Duties: | This position requires an individual that works with minimal supervision. Excellent communication, organizational, documentation, and computer skills are required. This is a hands-on position and technical aptitude to grasp scientific and engineering concepts is required. This position requires an individual that is detail oriented and a self-starter, with ability to work independently. Lifting objects up to 50 pound may be required. The company provides personal protective equipment and its use is mandatory. This equipment may include, but is not limited to; air-purifying respiratory protection, gloves, safety glasses, goggles, approved foot protection, lab and special environmental clothing. Compliance to safety guidelines and practices is mandatory |
| Qualifications: | High School Diploma or the equivalent, 2 year Electronics or Automation Degree preferred.
Prefer at least 3 year�s industrial experience in instrumentation and controls maintenance. Experience in trouble shooting automated assembly equipment that involves linear encoders, servo motors, relays, and temperature controllers.
