| Description: | QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED� (1) COMPUTER SCIENCE DEGREE (2) WELL VERSED IN WINDOWS OPERATING SYSTEMS AND LINUX AS WELL AS THE USE OF AT LEAST TWO OF THE FOLLOWING WEB BROWSERS: FIREFOX, INTERNET EXPLORER, NETSCAPE, MAC SAFARI. (3) 3-4 YEARS QA EXPERIENCE IN DEBUGGING / REVIEWING WEB-BASED APPLICATIONS (4) 2-3 YEARS EXPERIENCE WITH TECHNICAL DOCUMENTATION (5) EXPERIENCE WORKING CLOSELY WITH SOFTWARE DEVELOPMENT ENGINEERS. (6) 3-4 YEARS EXPERIENCE WRITING AND EXECUTING TEST PLANS AND TEST CASES FOR WEB BASED APPLICATONS (7) STRONG SQL DATBASE, LINUX/UNIX SKILLS (8) STRONG BACKGROUND IN WRITING AUTOMATED TEST CASES, FRAMEWORK DEVELOPMENT FOR BACKEND TESTING IN 1 OR MORE OF THE FOLLOWING AREAS: MERCURY QTP (VBSCRIPT REQUIRED), J2EE BASED WHITE-BOX TESTING, DEVELOPING JAVA API BASED TEST HARNESS (JAVA,JUNIT,XML REQUIRED). |

| Qualifications: | Additional:
Work with resources to develop automated test scripts.
Work closely with Software Development Engineers in understanding the requirements and testability of those requirements.
Be able to write and or script test cases and develop, execute the test cases using Automation tools.
Write detailed bug reports and follow them through the tracking process.
Perform static testing on requirements.
Ensure each requirement has a test case and that each requirement is not under or overly tested.
Report problems found during testing.
Review all problem reports. Assign and if necessary reproduce problems and assign them to a programmer.
Receive new software builds from development and make sure to validate bug fixes and close problems.
Conduct formal Test Readiness Reviews. Review unit tests/deliverables from development group.
Develop test summary reports upon completion of testing.
Create copy of deliverables and place electronic deliverables on the internal documents repository site.
Own the quality of the project being worked on. Assist in picking up the pieces to ensure a quality product when released.
Review Engineering specifications.
Review and Develop code.
Conduct weekly Bug Log Meetings.
Maintain a weekly status report to review with Test Manager. This includes the status of each team per project.
Ensure test plan and test procedures are ready for each project which has a requirement.
Build a test matrix for each large static project
